ABOUT SARA THOMPSON

 

 

Sara's interest in makeup was evident early on - she first experimented with colors while poking around in her mother's cosmetics.  She began taking makeup artistry seriously as a career in 2011, when she completed her certificate in makeup artistry from Brio Academy.

 

Sara has kept busy in the beauty world working behind the camera, teaching, and crafting the perfect look for her clients. She has represented such brands as Urban Decay, Tarte, Hourglass, and L'Occitaine, and has attended numerous workshops and seminars held by The Powder Group and celebrity makeup artists. She had a full circle moment when she was invited back to teach the makeup course at Marinello Schools of Beauty (previously Brio Academy) where she instructed budding makeup artists in proper technique.

 

In addition to developing a lipstick with Three Custom Color Specialists and The Powder Group to benefit the Provincetown Art Association and Museum, Sara is honored to be assisting with the Look Good, Feel Better program, where she'll be teaching classes to women who are undergoing cancer treatments.

 

Through makeup, Sara aims to help others feel beautiful inside and out.  She loves knowing that by accentuating someone's outer beauty, she can help to bring out the confidence within them!
